The Skzoo plushies were introduced on December 23, 2020 with a special teaser alongside an alternative version of God's Menu which was released on February 2, 2021.
There are eight official plushies in the collection, each representing a single member of Stray Kids. They were inspired by the members, with each having its own name. A very cute wolf named Wolf Chan depicts Bang Chan, Leebit is a rabbit and represents Lee Know, a hybrid of a rabbit and pig Dwaekki is the avatar of Changbin, a white ferret Jiniret was created after Hyunjin, Han Quokka is of course inspired by Han, a small yellow chick BbokAri depicts Felix, a cute puppy PuppyM represents Seungmin, while the last one called FoxI.Ny was inspired by I.N.
All 8 Skzoo plushies are of an approximately the same size and come with a black sweatshirt featuring the classic SKZ logo on the front. The sweatshirts are removable and can be swapped to another pieces of apparel.
The dimensions of the animal dolls are around 135 x 250 mm. They are made of a very soft in touch Polyester and weight around 100 g. They were manufactured in China by a company called Soundwave. It is the official piece of Stray Kids merchandise from JYP Entertainment.
The Skzoo plushies were available for pre-order for 2 weeks from February 2 to February 14, 2021. Additionally you could also get one of the special Skzoo figures made of PVC featuring the dolls. They showcase the characters in black outfits on a circle black stands. They measure approximately 79 x 43 mm and come in a very elegant box with a transparent window, so you can display them without taking them out. On the back of the box you will find an artwork depicting all of the figures and their names.
The third item related to Skzoo you could get during the pre-order period was a face keyring. Each of them weights around 30 g.
There are several different occasions on which you could stumble upon the Skzoo plushies. One of them was the first fan meeting with their official fandom titled #Lovestay SKZ-X. It was broadcast online on February 20, 2021 through the official account of the group on Naver's V-Live. The whole concept was related to defectives.
A substantial amount of Skzoo merchandise was prepared for the event. It was available for purchase only online since the audience couldn't attend personally. Beside the plushies you could acquire eight different products which are definitely worth adding to your collection.
The collection consists of 8 different sets of pin buttons, 8 gel pens in different colors, 2 types of a sticky memo set (version A or B), a set of 25 cartoon stickers in a transparent plastic zipper bag, a set of 3 wappens in eight different variants, a mini pouch depicting a face of a selected mascot, a smart tok (popsocket) for your smartphone in 8 options, and finally a canvas bag showcasing an illustration showcasing all the characters.
If you're planning to create a larger collection, those wonderful items will be perfect to start with. They can be still found online from the third-party sellers. Although the price can be a little bit higher it's still worth it.
On June 9, 2021 the pre-orders for a new wonderful Skzoo plushies accessory were opened. It was a detective outfit available in eight different versions. Each is unique and was prepared for a particular animal doll. The colors range from light beige to grey and black. Each of the packages contained several pieces of fashion for the character of your choice. Inside the box you will find a detective coat and trousers (both on a hanger), and a pair of shoes placed in a special shoe box. The box itself looks like a suitcase and is made of a very sturdy cardboard. A small tag featuring the Skzoo plushie wearing the outfit is also included.
This is a perfect accessory for your toy and you should definitely consider getting it. It's definitely one of the better ideas for a gift for any of the Stray Kids fans. It was available for pre-order for two weeks until June 24, 2021.
The next selection of merchandise which was accompanying the Skzoo plushies came out in a conjunction with the release of the digital single Mixtape: Oh on June 26, 2021. It was produced by the members of 3Racha.
To commemorate the release of the single a small selection of collectibles was prepared. Aside from the plushies themselves you could get 5 different items. That includes the face mini keyring we are already familiar with, a circle popsocket depicting the dolls in eight different variants, a pouch available in 8 options, and a set of 2 sheets of stickers.
The last item in this Skzoo collection was another outfit. It looks like a pajama and is available in two different colors - white and navy. If you look carefully you can spot a nice pattern on each of them, incorporating the logo of Mixtape: Oh. It will be a nice alternative for the detective outfit we talked about above. Its dimensions are 150 x 200 mm and is made of Cotton. It comes with a hanger and a transparent cover. If you're looking for a cute outfit for your plushie, this is something you should be interested in.
Another large collection related to Skzoo came out for the second fan meeting #Lovestay SKZ's Chocolate Factory. It was held over two days between February 12 and 13, 2022 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.
The selection of collectibles available for the fans was composed of 9 items. That includes a set of 3 pin buttons on a backing card available in 8 variants, a nice acrylic stand featuring a silhouette of a selected member of Stray Kids alongside the corresponding Skzoo plushie, another selection of gel pen, 8 air fresheners, a mask strap with a small charm (8 different options), a fluffy pouch made of a very soft material, and a set off Skzoo stickers in a transparent pouch with the logo of Chocolate Factory on the front.
The final product is another outfit for the plushies. This time it is composed of a pink top, a matching shorts and a pair of shoes. This is a casual yet very elegant outfit that will definitely please you.
Some interesting plush cushions depicting the faces of the characters were later available at a special pop-up store titled The Victory in 2022.
