The Red Velvet official light stick was revealed on July 23, 2018 and later released on July 24 just before the second concert Redmare was held on August 4 at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul. The light stick is composed of a white handle and a transparent head in a shape of a cupcake with a classic "RV" logo inside. This is an official item certified by SM Entertainment. Red Velvet is the first girl group from the company that have gotten the fanlight.
The light stick can operate for 5 hours. Three modes are available: on, blink and flicker. It requires 3 AAA batteries to operate. A nice feature is the option to connect the item to your smartphone via a Bluetooth connection.
The dimensions of the light stick are 88.5 x 88.5 x 255 mm and it weights 152g. In the package you will also find a strap and a user manual. The content comes in a tube-like box. The weight of the whole package is 680g.
Additionally the official white pouch was released for those who would like to carry around the Red Velvet light stick in a safe way. It was available for purchase during the 2nd Concert Redmare.
