TO1 (previously known as TOO) is a boy band initially composed of 10 members including Donggeon, Chihoon, Jisu, Chan, Jaeyun, Minsu, Kyungho, J.You, Jerome and Woonggi. Chihoon departed from the band in April of 2022, while other 3 members Minsu, Jerome and Woonggi left in June of 2022. 3 new members including Daigo, Renta and Yeojeong joined the same month.
The group was formed through a TV show To Be World Klass broadcasted on Mnet in 2019. The members joined the survival show Road to Kingdom in 2020, but the group was eliminated in the seventh episode. TO1 debuted as TOO under n.CH Entertainment on April 1, 2020 with their first mini album titled Reason For Being: Benevolence and their main track Magnolia.
The group rebranded as TO1 at the beginning of 2021 and subsequently released their extended play Re:Born on May 20.
There are currently no official TO1 merchandise and (including the official TO1 light stick) available aside from the physical albums. The group's releases can be considered a valuable collectibles. They contain many interesting items which will please even the most demanding fans.
The group debuted with their first EP Reason For Being: Benevolence on April 1, 2020. On the CD you will find 5 songs including the lead single Magnolia, Take It Slow, Don't Fear Now, Everything's Gonna Be Alright, and You Can't Hurry Love. The EP reached number 4 on the Gaon Weekly chart and sold 11,043 units during its premiere month. It sold another 8,138 copies in May.
There are 2 different versions of the physical edition available - uTOOpia (blue cover) and dysTOOpia (black cover). Each of the versions contain a substantial selection of TO1 merchandise.
The package measuring 150 x 210 mm contains a CD disk with the music, a photobook with ton of beautiful pictures of all members (136 x 196 mm), a folded photo card selected randomly out of 10 variants (75 x 150 mm), a name photo card with a picture of a random member and a some information about him (50 x 90 mm), a frame postcard (132 x 188 mm), and a wappen with the logo of the group (55 x 32 mm).
A single poster was issued for each of the versions of the album. It features the whole group and measures 600 x 450 mm.
Running TOOgether is the second extended play of TO1. It had its premiere on July 15, 2020 under n.CH Entertainment. Similarly to its predecessor it is composed of 5 songs - Count 1, 2, Step By Step, Better, Taillight and Dancing In The Moonlight. Count 1, 2 serves as the title track.
The release managed to peak at the 9th position on the weekly Gaon chart. It sold 24,689 copies in July of 2020 and another 13,989 copies the following month.
The second of the group's albums is available only in 1 physical version which comes with a plastic translucent sleeve. Inside the package you will find a nice selection of TO1 merchandise including the CD disk, a 100 pages photobook (200 x 275 mm), a folded lyric poster (400 x 550 mm), 2 photo cards of a size of 55 x 85 mm added randomly out of 20 variants (2 per each member of TO1), a single circle photo card of a diameter of 60 x 60 mm, a photo ticket representing a single member randomly chosen out of 10 variants (70 x 140 mm), a mini slogan featuring the picture and the name of a random member (230 x 70 mm), and 1 sheet of illustration stickers (120 x 175 mm).
