Kep1er is a girl group under Swing Entertainment and Wake One Entertainment. It consists of nine members including Bahiyyih, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Yeseo, Youngeun, Hikaru, Mashiro, Shen Xiaoting and the leader Yujin, who is also a member of CLC. The group was formed through a TV survival competition show Girls Planet 999 that aired in 2021. The members debuted in January of 2022 with their first extended play First Impact.
There are not many pieces of Kep1er merchandise released officially. The light stick is still not available. The only items you can currently get are those released for the 2022 edition of KCON festival, and those available at the Pop-Up Store & Cafe In Kep1er ISLAND organized the same year. Additionally there are of course physical editions of the albums which are considered as a valuable collectibles among the fans. All of them can be easily get through various e-commerce websites.
There are just two pieces of Kep1er merchandise prepared for the convention. The 2022 edition of a Korean festival called KCON 2022 Premiere was organized to celebrate the Korean pop culture, including the beloved by all of us KPop. After a two-year break it came back to a traditional offline concert format (instead of just an online events streamed through various platforms). It was announced that this year the festival will visit three different cities - Seoul, Tokyo and Chicago.
Kep1er was one of the groups invited to participate into the Seoul concerts, along with The Boyz, Monsta X, TO1, Highlight, Loona, STAYC, WJSN, Viviz, Brave Girls, the former member of Sistar, Hyolyn, and finally the Japanese group NiziU.
The event began with a performance at CJ ENM Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul on May 7, 2022. A collection of goods featuring the logos and the pictures of all participants was prepared for the attendees. They were also available for pre-order online for those who could not see the concerts personally.
As mentioned above, there are two different pieces of Kep1er merchandise you can get. The first one is the official cheering slogan. It has the name of the festival on one side alongside a cool colorful design, and the name of the group with the title of another TV show Kep1er participated in - the second season of Queendom. The slogan is of a regular size and measures 600 x 200 mm. It has a purple scheme of colors.
The second collectible is a voice keyring which will help you to keep your keys together. As the name suggests it can play some pre-recorded messages. It consists of a small chain and a charm which is circle and showcases the logo of Kep1er along with the title of the festival placed below. The dimensions of the item are 45 x 45 x 20 mm. It comes in a translucent package, which makes the product even more attractive.
You can get both pieces of Kep1er merchandise from a third-party sellers on numerous e-commerce auction sites, probably for a little bit higher prices.
The physical editions of the records can always be a great Kep1er merchandise to collect, especially if the light stick is still nowhere to be found. You can get different versions of the albums practically from all KPop stores you will be able to find online.
Kep1er released their first extended play titled First Impact on January 3, 2022. It is composed of 6 tracks including See The Light, the lead single Wa Da Da, MVSK, Shine (Kep1er version), Another Dream (Kep1er version) and O.O.O (Over&Over&Over).
First Impact managed to top the Gaon Weekly chart, and reached number 2 on the Japanese Oricon chart. It eventually became the 3rd best-selling album in South Korea of January 2022.
The physical edition comes in three different versions - Connect o, Connect -, and Connect 1. All of them are full of wonderful Kep1er merchandise. Inside each of the copies you will find a CD disk containing the music, a photo book with 72 pages of beautiful pictures of all members of Kep1er taken during the promotional photo shoot (173 x 240 x 5.5 mm), 2 randomly selected photo cards added out of 18 different options (2 per member), and a single postcard measuring 100 x 150 mm included at random out of 9 variants (100 x 150 mm). The last piece of Kep1er merchandise is a sheet of stickers of a size of 160 x 220 mm.
All photo cards are of a regular size and measure 55 x 85 mm. This particular size can be found in almost all of the currently released albums.
Additionally you could also give three unique pieces of merchandise if you pre-ordered your copy before the official release date. The first item was a special baby card featuring a random member of Kep1er. It measures 100 x 150 mm. The second one was a random poster of a dimensions of 520 x 720 mm. There are three group and nine individual member sheets. The final item was a very rare signed Polaroid photo added to only a selected amount of album units.
