X1 was a KPop group formed through a survival TV show Produce X 101. It is the fourth show from the Produce 101 franchise and X1 was the fourth band created after I.O.I, Wanna One and IZ*ONE. The show began on May 3, 2019 and concluded with the 12th episode on July 19. The final lineup includes 11 members: Kim Yo-han, Kim Woo-seok, Han Seung-woo, Song Hyeong-jun, Cho Seung-youn, Son Dong-pyo, Lee Han-gyul, Nam Do-hyun, Cha Jun-ho, Kang Min-hee and Lee Eun-sang. Lee Eun-sang was not chosen based on a position he held after the final episode but based on a number of votes he accumulated during the show.
Some of the X1 members were already known from other KPop groups they debuted in. Han Seung-woo for example is a leader of Victon under Play M Entertainment and Kim Woo-seok debuted as a member of UP10TION in 2015. Others are known from their participation in the TV shows. Nam Do-hyon competed in the Under Nineteen survival show while Lee Han-gyul took part in The Unit.
The band officially debuted under Swing Entertainment and Stone Entertainment on August 27, 2019 with their first showcase at the Gocheok Sky Dome venue where the first line of X1 merchandise was available for the fans. The group released their debut mini album Emergency: Quantum Leap and the title song Flash for which they won 1st place on SBS The Show. The extended play includes - beside the title track - 5 other songs: Stand Up (which is an intro), Like Always, I'm Here For You, U Got It and Move. Additional one was added to the physical release of the album titled X1-MA (version performed by the members). Move was composed and written by Zico. Following the vote manipulation controversy, X1 was ultimately disbanded in January of 2020.
There is only one officially released collection of X1 merchandise. Although you can find many interesting items made by fans on various online shopping websites.
The day of their debut - on August 27, 2019 - the group held a showcase titled Premier Show-Con. The event was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome which is baseball stadium located in Seoul and was broadcasted online. A total number of 17 000 people came to see the show including AB6IX's Jeon Woong, UP10TION's Lee JinHyuk and other Produce X 101 contestants that couldn't debut as members of X1.The group showcased their songs from the Emergency: Quantum Leap album and the songs from the TV show including Pretty Girl and Boyness.
The members prepared a great treat for their fans who could purchase one or more of 12 cool pieces of X1 merchandise including the official light stick. The items were available for purchase at a special booths near the venue and online on many KPop stores.
The first item is the official X1 light stick. It is made of acrylic and PVC and has a transparent head in a shape of the X1 logo. It needs 3 AAA batteries to operate and can produce a light in three colors: green, blue and yellow. The light stick measures 130 x 225 mm. Please notice the batteries are not included in the package if it has to be delivered overseas.
The second item is a green rubber strap with a steel ring. It has the name of a chosen member on one side of the strap and the date of X1's debut on the other. The product measures 174 x 30 mm.
The third collectible is a key ring which is composed of three pendants including a long green one (19.5 x 98 mm) with words "X1 1st Mini Album & Premier Show-Con", a round blue one with the group's logo (34 x 34 mm), and a yellow one in a shape of a butterfly (28 x 23.5 mm). The key ring is made of acrylic.
Next there's a set of a lanyard and a ticket case - both featuring the title of the event. The case is made of PVC and can keep your tickets intact when attending a concert or other event. It measures 115 x 154 mm. The size of the lanyard is 440 x 20 mm and it is made of fabric. The set comes with a special photo card with a picture of a whole group.
The next piece of X1 merchandise is a transparent pouch made of PVC. It is in blue and green color. In the package you will also find a set of 11 photo cards representing each member. The photo cards are of a slightly bigger size than a standard size - they measure 55 x 88 mm. The size of the pouch is 132 x 100 mm.
When purchasing the hologram deco sticker set you will get two sheets of stickers with the names of all members written both in English in Korean plus 7 stickers of the X1 logo. With this merch you can decorate your diary, laptop, phone case or any other object. The size of a single sheet is 130 x 175 mm.
The two badges that come in a set features the logo of X1 (24 x 20 mm) and their debut date "190827" (27 x 7 mm). They are made of a yellow brass.
The phone case will be a perfect accessory for your smartphone. It comes in two options. You can use it if you are the owner of either Galaxy S10 (73 x 155 mm) or iPhone XS (71 x 40 mm). The cases are in blue and green tones and have the X1 logo on it with the title of the show-con. They are made of plastic.
The binder for your collection of photo cards is similar in a shape to the one from the Every Day6 Concerts Series collections. It contains sleeves that you can fill with the photo cards including 11 sized 55 x 85 mm that are included in the package. The size of the binder is 110 x 200 mm.
The tote bag is a very interesting X1 merchandise. It features a title of the mini album Quantum Leap with the X1 logo. It is made of canvas and comes with a detachable long strap. As a bonus you will get a special green photo card with a translucent window in the middle with a photo of all members. The dimensions of the tote bag are 265 x 305 x 90 mm. The size of the photo card is 100 x 80 mm.
If you need something to wear this piece of fashion will be perfect for you. The T-shirt comes in two colors - black or white - and two different (although slightly similar) graphics. It is available in free size (shoulder: 44.5 cm, chest width: 52 cm, arm length: 19 cm).
