Kim Samuel debuted under Brave Entertainment as a member of the Hip-Hop duo 1Punch (with One) back in 2015. Although he is probably the most known from the participation in the second season of the survival TV show Produce 101. He managed to get to the last episode but ended up on the 18th position and ultimately failed to join Wanna One. Only month after the last episode was broadcasted Samuel debuted as a solo artist with his first mini album titled Sixteen with the lead song of the same title. He continued his career with the release of a full album Eye Candy on November 16, 2017 and two albums in the following year - extended play One and a repackaged album Teenager. The soloist is inactive in South Korea since his last release.

Ahead of his comeback with the album Teenager (featuring School Rapper Season 2 contestant Lee Ro Han) Samuel announced on May 2, 2018 his official light stick. It was officially released on May 7 on a various KPop stores online.
The light stick features the official colors of the artist called Rhodolite Garnet. It has a white handle with a with a transparent bulb in a shape of a garnet. This piece of Kim Samuel merchandise is powered by 3 AAA alkaline batteries and can operate for around 6 hours. It can work in five different modes - on, slow, quick, flash and dimming.
The light stick measures 67 x 67 x 248 mm and is made of ABS and PC. In the package you will find the light stick, a strap and a user manual. All come in a white cardboard box.
