On July 31, 2020, the official Rocket Punch light stick was revealed on the group's account on Twitter. It was available for pre-order the same day until it was officially released on August 4, 2020, which coincided with their comeback with the third mini album Blue Punch and the title song Juicy. The light stick is marked as version 1. It was available for purchase from the official store of Woollim Entertainment.
The Rocket Punch light stick is composed of a round transparent globe and a white handle. Inside the globe you can notice a rocket surrounded by a ring with six stars. You can spot the flames gushing from the rocket. The handle has a pink ring at the top, and pink bottom. On a white background you can also find the words "Rocket Punch & Ketchy", which is the official name of the fandom of the group. An oblong on/off button is also visible. It is a very elegant and nice looking product, that will please even the most demanding fans.
The Rocket Punch light stick can operate in two a different modes - on and flash. It is powered not - as it's usually expected - by 3 AAA alkaline batteries, but by an internal battery of a capacity of 2000 mAh. It will allow the light stick to work for about 5 hours. The charging time is approximately 3 hours.
By default it can create the light in white, purple and pink colors. But practically it can produce the light in the whole spectrum since it is equipped in RGBW LED.
A special dedicated app was released. It will allow you to connect your light stick to a device based on Android or iOS through a Bluetooth connection. You can then pair it with your designated seat at the concert venue or any other place where Rocket Punch event will be held. A wireless control mode will be activated and the light stick will be controlled via central control to create some jaw dropping visual light effects.
The application can also change the color of the light, set the intensity, and additionally you can customize the app by setting the image of Rocket Punch as the wallpaper. You can also check the levels of the internal battery, so you will know when it needs recharging. The application is available from Google Play (for Android 4.3 and up) and App Store (for iOS 10.0 or later). It was developed by Arana Co., Ltd.
Beside the Rocket Punch light stick inside the package you will also find a type C USB cable, a hand strap which will be useful for carrying the item around, and a user manual with some important information. Everything comes in a plastic transparent tube. You can display the light stick without taking it out.
The dimensions of the Rocket Punch light stick are 97 x 250 x 97 mm. It is made of ABS and PC. It was manufactured in China. On the back on the tube you will also find a sticker of authenticity which will prove it is a genuine item from Woollim Entertainment.
