Feeling Sensation is the first single album of the group and their debut release. It is also the first installment into their Sensation trilogy. It came out under FNC Entertainment on October 5, 2016 and was distributed by Loen Entertainment. Today Art, Inc. manufactured the album. The single consists of 3 songs including Fanfare, K.O., and Together. Fanfare serves as the title track. It was composed by Albin Nordqvist, Louise Frick Sveen and Kim Chang-rak, and arranged by Nordqvist and Sveen. Han Seong-ho, Kim Chang-rak and Lee Ji-eun wrote the lyrics.
Feeling Sensation reached number 6 on the Gaon Weekly Chart, and was the 13th best-selling South Korean album in October with 15,090 units sold. It later became the 78th most purchased album in 2016 with 32,322 copies sold.
The physical edition of the first of SF9 albums is composed of two separate parts. One consists of a CD disk with the music (151 x 210 mm), a photobook with 48 pages full of pictures featuring all members of SF9 (151 x 210 mm), and 1 random photo card chosen out of 9 variants (55 x 85 mm). Burning Sensation peaked at the 3rd position on the Gaon chart and eventually became the 7th best-selling Korean album in Febuary of 2017, and the 3rd of any boy group (after NCT Dream's The First and BTS' You Never Walk Alone). It sold 23,991 copies this month.

The second mini album of SF9 titled Breaking Sensation came out on April 18, 2017 under FNC Entertainment and was distributed by Loen Entertainment. It is the final part of the Sensation series. Similarly to the previous SF9 album it consists of 6 tracks including the Intro, Easy Love, Watch Out, Hide and Seek, Fall Down and Why. Easy Love was chosen as the lead single. It was composed by Hyuk Shin, Jeff Lewis, MRey, Han Seong-ho and Kim Chang-rak, with the arrangements from Hyuk Shin and MRey. The lyrics were written by Han and Kim.
Breaking Sensation is the first of SF9 albums to break into the top 5 on the Gaon Weekly chart. It sold 10,468 units in April and another 16,892 in the following month. It was the 10th most purchased KPop album in May of 2017.

It features 6 tracks - Poetry; 00:00, the lead single O Sole Mio, Let's Hang Out, Blank, Scold, and Just On My Way. The title O Sole Mio was produced by Kim Chang-rak and Seo Yong-bae. The duo also wrote the lyrics.
Knights of the Sun is another of SF9 albums that reached number 6 on the weekly Gaon chart. It was the 13th best-selling Korean album in October of 2017 with 23,697 units sold.
Similarly to the previous mini albums of the group, the third EP of SF9 comes with a sleeve of a dimensions of 148 x 191.5 mm. Mamma Mia! is the fourth extended play and the fifth SF9 album overall. it was released under FNC on February 26, 2018 and distributed by Loen Entertainment. It consists of 6 songs - the title track of the same title as the EP, Never Say Goodbye, Go Back in Time, Be my Baby, Midnight Road and Dear Fantasy. The title Mamma Mia was composed by Erik Lidbom, Kim Chang-rak, Seo Yong-bae and Kim Su-bin with the arrangements by Lidbom and Kim. It's worth noting that all members of SF9 were credited as the lyricists of Dream Fantasy.
The album peaked at number 3 on the weekly Gaon chart. It sold 11,060 copies during February, and another 25,582 copies in April, which allowed it to finish at number 11 on the best-sellers list in April.

The EP features 6 songs including Enough, Play Hard, Heartbeat, Life Is So Beautiful, Fall In Love and The Beat Goes On. Enough was chosen as the title track. It was composed by Daniel Kim and Sebastian Thott, and arranged by Thott.
It peaked at the 4th position on the Gaon weekly chart and reached number 11 on the US World chart of Billboard. The SF9 album was the 8th most purchased release in February 2019 (with 27,214 copies) and the 10th next month.
Narcissus is another of SF9 albums that is available in 2 different physical versions - Temptation and Emptiness. Both for the first time come in a box instead of a slip cover and are composed of a CD disk containing the music (118 x 118 mm), a 72 pages photobook (140 x 190 mm), a folded poster showcasing a random member (280 x 380 mm), 1 concept photo card added randomly out of 9 variants which measures 65 x 95 mm in the Temptation version and 70 x 95 mm in the Emptiness version, and 1 random selfie photo card also chosen out of 9 options (85 x 55 mm). The next extended play of the group - seventh already - was released on June 16, 2019. It features - as usual - 6 tracks including the title RPM, Round and Round, Dreamer, Liar, See U Tomorrow and Echo. The lead single was produced by Tha Aristocrats, Maxx Song, Tiyon "TC" Mack, Moon Kim and Tesung Kim. The members of SF9 - Youngbin, Zuho, Taeyang and Hwiyoung contributed to the lyrics of all the songs, while Zuho was credited as the composer and arranger of Echo.
The mini album managed to reach number 5 on the weekly Gaon chart and number 15 on the Billboard's US World chart. It also charted (at the position number 45) on the Oricon chart. With 34,456 copies sold it became the 12th most popular Korean release in June of 2019.

The members of SF9 once again took part in the creating process of the lyrics for all the songs.
First Collection was the best performing on the Gaon chart album of the group. It was the 2nd best-selling KPop album in the week between January 5 and 11, finishing as a runner up behind Treasure Epilogue: Action to Answer of Ateez. It eventually sold 107,234 units in the whole month of January and finished on the 4th position on the monthly Gaon chart.

Summer Breeze is the title track and was produced by Han Seong-ho, Kim Do-hoon of RBW, Park Soo Seok, Bong Won-seok, Moon Kim and Tiyon "TC" Mack. The lyrics for all songs present on this SF9 album were co-written by the members.
9loryUS reached number 3 on the weekly Gaon chart and number 13 on the Japansese Oricon chart. It sold 94,291 copies in July of 2020 and was the 6th most popular KPop album this month, and the 3rd most popular album of any boy group after Ateez and Seventeen.
