NCT Dream Albums

There are 9 NCT Dream albums released by the group. That includes 2 studio album, 2 repackages, 4 extended plays, and 1 single. They were released by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music Corp. Korea (later as Genie Music), and iRiver (later as Dreamus). Several of them are available also as a Kihno edition.

The group debuted with their EP The First in February of 2017. Their studio album Hot Sauce sold more than 2,000,000 copies and is one of the best-selling album in South Korea.

The First Single Album

The debut single of the group titled The First was released by SM Entertainment on February 9, 2017. KT Music Corp. Korea was responsible for the distribution. Since Jaemin did not participate due to his health problems, the first of NCT Dream albums feature only 6 members. The single is composed of 5 tracks including My First and Last alongside its Chinese version, Dunk Shot, the group's debut song Chewing Gum, and its Chinese version. Dunk Shot is a cover of a hit song released by Lee Seunghwan in 1993. My First and Last serves as the title track. It was composed and arranged by August Rigo, Justin Davey and Ryan S. Jhun. Mark wrote the lyrics alongside Jeon Gandi.

The First topped the Gaon Weekly chart during the 6th week of 2017. With 37,073 copies sold it was the 6th biggest seller of February, and the 2nd best-selling album of any KPop boy group after BTS's repackage of their second studio album Wings titled You Never Walk Alone. It ended the year as the 40th most purchased release in South Korea of 2017, with the total sales of 82,654 units.

The First Single Album Cover

The physical edition of the single measures 128 x 143 x 13 mm and features all 6 members on the cover. Inside the package you will find a CD disk containing the music, a photobook with 36 pages full of interesting photos with the members of NCT Dream (122 x 138 mm), and a random photo card chosen out of 6 variants (55 x 85 mm).

2 posters were prepared as a pre-order benefit. Both showcase all members of the group, and measure 920 x 610 mm.

A special Kihno edition was also released. It was available in a very limited quantity.

We Young Mini Album

We Young is the second of NCT Dream albums and their first extended play. It premiered under SM Entertainment on August 17, 2017 and was distributed by Genie Music (previously known as KT Music). Similarly to its predecessor it does not feature Jaemin who was still at that time on hiatus. On the CD you will find 6 tracks including the lead single of the same title, La La Love, Walk You Home, My Page, the Chinese version of We Young, and a bonus song Trigger The Fever. The title track was composed by Kenzie, LDN Noise and Ylva Dimberg (The Kennel), with the arrangements by LDN Noise. Mark helped with the lyrics for all songs except We Young.

To promote the second of NCT Dream albums, a special showcase was held on August 16, 2017 at the Gyeonggi-do Ilsan Hyundai Motor Studio Goyang in Seoul.

The EP peaked at number 2 on the Gaon Weekly chart during the 33rd week of 2017 (only behind Wanna One and their debut 1X1=1 (To Be One)). It sold 79,996 copies in August and was the 4th best-selling release of the month in South Korea. It eventually became the 42nd most popular release of the year in South Korea with a total number of 80,905 units sold.

We Young is available in a single physical version. Its dimensions are 210 x 150 x 15.5 mm. It is composed of a CD disk attached to the inner side of the front cover, a 72 pages photobook, and a single photo card added randomly out of 6 variants (55 x 85 mm).

A single poster was issued for this release. It features a picture of all members on the beach, and measures 920 x 610 mm.

We Go Up Mini Album

The second mini album of the group titled We Go Up came out on September 3, 2018 under SM Entertainment, with the distribution provided by Iriver. This is the first physical release of NCT Dream to feature Jaemin as a member, and the last time with the participation of Mark, who graduated and left the sub-unit. He eventually was reinstated and came back in 2021 for the group's first full-length album titled Hot Sauce. Lee Sooman - a founder of SM - serves as the executive producer.

The EP is composed of 6 tracks including the eponymous lead single, 1, 2, 3, Beautiful Time, Drippin, Dear Dream and a Chinese version of We Go Up. The title song We Go Up was produced by MZMC, a production team Rice N' Peas (Andrew Bazzi, Mike Woods and Kevin White), and Kenzie. Kenzie and Mark wrote the lyrics. The member is credited as the lyricist of all songs on the album except 1, 2, 3.

The third of NCT Dream albums topped the Gaon Weekly chart (the second to do that after The First). It also reached number 11 on the Oricon chart in Japan, and the 5th and 7th position on Billboard's US World and US Heatseekers charts respectively. It was the 2nd best-selling release of September 2018 in South Korea, behind only GOT7's third studio album Present: You, with a total sales of 193,247 units. By the end of 2018 it sold 202,626 units and became the 22nd biggest seller of the year.

It is the third of NCT Dream albums to became certified Platinum by the Korea Music Content Association after We Boom and Reload. It received the certification (for more than 250,000 copies sold) on March 11, 2021.

Physically, We Go Up is available in 1 version measuring 150 x 150 x 13.5 mm. It consists of a CD disk containing the music, a 44 pages photobook with some interesting pictures of all members of NCT Dream, a single yellow crew card chosen at random out of 7 variants (55 x 85 mm), 1 sheet of stickers (120 x 135 mm), and 1 randomly selected photo card added out of 7 options (55 x 85 mm).

Additionally 2 different posters were prepared as a pre-order bonus for those who bought their copy before the official premiere. That includes a regular and limited edition poster. Both measure 920 x 610 mm.

We Boom Mini Album

We Boom is the third extended play and the fourth of NCT Dream albums. It came out on July 29, 2019 under SM Entertainment (although it was available digitally since July 26, 2019). Dreamus (formerly known as Iriver) was responsible for the distribution. It was another release to be produced by Lee Sooman, and the first of the group's albums not to contain any Chinese version of their songs. On the CD you will find 6 songs - Boom, Stronger, 119, Bye My First..., Best Friend and Dream Run. The lead single Boom was produced by Cedric "Dabenchwarma" Smith, Keynon "KC" Moore, Yoo Youngjin, Curtis Richardson, Adien Lewis and Ryan S. Jhun. Jeno, Jaemin and Jisung were involved in writing the lyrics for some of the songs.

The EP won a Album Bonsang award at the 34th Golden Disc Awards, and was nominated in the Album Daesang category.

We Boom Mini Album Cover

We Boom is another of NCT Dream albums to top the Gaon Weekly chart. It also reached number 16 on the Oricon chart. It sold 197,175 units in July and was the 4th best-selling album in South Korea of the month (the 1st of any KPop boy groups). With 115,100 copies sold it became the 3rd most purchased release of July, behind only X1's Emergency: Quantum Leap and Kang Daniel's Color On Me. By the end of the year it sold 327,805 units and ended as the 16th most popular release of 2019. At the same time it was the best-selling album of any NCT unit in 2019 (the other were We Are Superhuman at 20th position and NCT 2018 Empathy at 93rd position).

The fourth of NCT Dream albums is the first to receive a Platinum certification. KMCA awarded the certificate on September 12, 2019.

All goods included in the package are unique to the version of the album.

2 group posters of a dimensions of 610 x 920 were issued for this release.

The Kihno edition is of a square shape measuring 101 x 101 x 33 mm. Inside the box you will find the Muz Kit (Air Kit) of a size of 60 x 60 mm, a folded accordion photos (90 x 540 mm), and a photo card included randomly out of 6 variants (55 x 85 mm).

A single poster was prepared for the Kihno edition. Its size is 610 x 920 mm, and it showcases all members of NCT Dream.

Reload Mini Album

The fourth extended play of NCT Dream was released by SM Entertainment on April 29, 2020. Dreamus serves as the distributor. The EP is composed of 5 songs including Ridin, Quiet Down, 7 Days, Love Again and Puzzle Piece. The lead track, Ridin, was produced by Jonatan Gusmark, Ludvig Evers, Julien Maurice Moore, Jeremy "Tay" Jasper, Adrian McKinnon, Darius Martin and Hautboi Rich. Jang Jeongwon and Rick Bridges wrote the lyrics.

Reload topped the Gaon Weekly chart and reached number 2 on the Oricon chart. It also peaked at number 7 on the Billboard's US World chart. With 259,422 copies sold it was the 2nd best-selling album of April 2020, finishing the month only behind GOT7 and their eleventh EP Dye. It sold additional 304,609 units in the following month, and became the 3rd biggest seller of May (behind Baekhyun's second EP Delight and NCT 127's repackage album NCT #127 Neo Zone: The Final Round).

It was the 11th biggest seller of the year with the total sales of 633,593 copies.

The fifth of NCT Dream albums received a double Platinum certification from KMCA on June 11, 2020 for more than 500,000 units sold.

Similarly to We Boom, Reload comes in 3 different physical versions - 2 regular: Ridin' (black cover) and Rollin' (purple cover), and a single Kihno version.

The regular version consists of a CD disk, a 72 pages photobook with some interesting pictures (150 x 200 x 15 mm), a folded poster featuring a random member of NCT Dream (284 x 384 mm), either a wrist band with the words "Burn up the road. Ridin' and rollin'." or a coupon showcasing all members, another circle card (60 x 60 mm), a single photo card of a typical size, chosen randomly out of 6 variants (55 x 85 mm).

2 different posters (1 for each of the EP's version) were prepared. The size of each of them is 910 x 620 mm.

The Kihno edition is of the same size as the previous one and measures 101 x 101 x 33 mm. It consists of an Air Kit (60 x 60 mm), a folded accordion photos (540 x 90 mm), and a randomly chosen photo card selected out of 6 options (55 x 85 mm).

Hot Sauce Studio Album

On May 10, 2021 SM Entertainment released the first full-length album of NCT Dream titled Hot Sauce. It is the first of NCT Dream albums to feature Mark since We Go Up in 2018. The studio album features 10 songs including the eponymous title track, Diggity, Dive into You, My Youth, Rocket, Countdown, ANL, Irreplaceable, Be There for You (performed by Renjun, Haechan and Chenle), and Rainbow. The composition for the lead single was made by Martin Wave, Tinashe Sibanda, Philip Kembo, Rosina "Soaky Siren" Russell, John Mitchell, Ninos Hanna and Yoo Youngjin. Moon Yeoreum and Jo Yoonkyung were credited as the lyricists.

On May 11 - to promote the premiere - a special show was held by the group and was broadcasted through V Live, Youtube, Twitter and Tiktok.

Hot Sauce Studio Album Cover

Hot Sauce is SM Entertainment's highest pre-order album of all time. It topped both Gaon Weekly and Oricon charts. It also reached number 2 on the Japan Hot chart. It sold 1,995,091 units during its premiere month and was the biggest-seller of May, beating the second placed second studio album The Chaos Chapter: Freeze of TXT by more than a 1,000,000 copies. In June 2021 the sales surpassed 2,000,000 copies.

The physical edition of this NCT Dream album is available in a total number of 10 versions. There are 3 different photobook versions (Crazy, Boring and Chilling) and 7 jewel case versions, each of them representing a single member of the KPop group. The jewel case version comes in a wrapper, so you cannot tell which exactly version you bought.

The photobook versions measure 150 x 200 x 17.5 mm and come with a slip case. Inside the package you will find a CD disk, an 88 pages photobook itself (149 x 200 x 8.5 mm), a postcard book composed of 28 pages (149 x 200 x 4.5 mm), 1 sheet of stickers (149 x 200 mm), a "thanks to" sheet with personal message from the members (298 x 398 mm), a folded poster included at random out of 7 variants (298 x 398 mm), 1 regular photo card selected randomly out of 7 options (55 x 85 mm), and a "Cafe 7 Dream" photo card added at random out of 7 variants (55 x 85 mm). All merchandise are unique in each of 3 versions of Hot Sauce except the Cafe 7 Dream cards.

The jewel case versions come in a wrapper featuring the digital cover of the album. Inside the package you will find a CD disk in a jewel case with a single member on the cover, with a plate randomly chosen out of 7 variants, a booklet (123 x 120 mm), a 10 pages lyrics paper (123 x 118 mm), a folded poster featuring a random member of NCT Dream (248 x 288 mm), an AR photo card included at random out of 7 options (55 x 85 mm), and an AR clip photo card added from a lot of 7 variants (55 x 85 mm).

A single poster was prepared for the jewel case versions. It features the whole group and is of a size of 920 x 610 mm.

Hello Future Repackage Album

The repackage of Hot Sauce came out on June 28, 2021, a month and a half after the studio album's premiere. It includes all previously released tracks, with the addition of 3 new songs - the eponymous lead single, Bungee and Life Is Still Going On. The title track was composed by Adrian McKinnon, Moonshine and Kenzie.

Physically, the seventh of NCT Dream albums is available in 2 regular versions - Hello (orange cover) and Future (blue cover), and 2 Kihno versions - Hello (green circle on the cover) and Future (yellow circle).

Both regular versions measure 220 x 294 and are composed of CD disk an 88 pages photobook (220 x 294 mm), an envelope (150 x 200 mm), a polaroid card selected at random out of 7 options (89 x 108 mm), 2 sheets of a tattoo stickers illustrated by the members of NCT Dream (80 x 100 mm), a folded poster chosen randomly out of 14 different sheets of a size of 290 x 410 mm (2 per member), 1 photo card showcasing a random member selected out of 7 variants (55 x 85 mm), and a single "Dream Agent" photo card added at random out of 7 options. All goods are unique to the version you will be getting except the Dream Agent cards.

5 different posters were prepared for Hello Future. That includes 2 group and 3 unit posters. All measure 920 x 610 mm.

The Kihno edition measure 101 x 101 x 33 mm. Inside the box you will find an Air Kit (60 x 60 mm), an accordion photobook (720 x 90 mm), and 1 random photo card selected out of 7 variants (55 x 85 mm). All goods are unique to the version you will be getting.

Glitch Mode Studio Album

Glitch Mode is the second full-length album of NCT Dream after Hot Sauce. It premiered under SM Entertainment on March 28, 2022 and was distributed by Dreamus. It is the second release of the group after Mark's comeback. The album features 11 songs including Fire Alarm, the lead single of the same title, It's Yours, Teddy Bear, Replay, Saturday Drip (performed by Mark, Jeno, Jaemin and Jisung), Better Than Gold, Drive, Never Goodbye and Rewind.

The main track was produced by Benjamin 55, Alony 55 and Sam SZND, with the lyrics written by Yoo Jae-eun and Mark.

Glitch Mode topped the weekly Gaon chart and reached the 2nd position on the Billboard's US World chart. It also peaked at number 2 on both Japanese Oricon and Billboard's Hot Albums charts.

NCT Dream Glitch Mode Studio Album Cover

It was the most popular record of March 2022 in South Korea selling a total number of 1,646,949 copies. It sold additional 455,122 copies the next month surpassing 2,000,000 units sold for which it received a Double Million certification from KMCA.

The physical edition of the studio album is available in 9 different versions. That includes 2 regular (Scratch and Glitch), and 7 digipack versions (1 per each of the members of NCT Dream including Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung).

Inside the package with the normal edition you will find a CD disk in a plastic envelope, a photobook with 88 pages of pictures, a set of 7 accordion photo cards, a folded poster depicting all members, 1 sheet of stickers, a lenticular photo card selected randomly out of 7 options, a regular photo card included from a lot of 7 variants, and a special ticket included in only first press units of the album.

Additionally, 4 posters (2 per each version of the album) were prepared. All measure 920 x 610 mm.

The digipack edition measures 140 x 125 x 7 mm and is composed of a CD disk, a square booklet consisting of 24 pages, a folded poster featuring a random member of the group, 1 photo card selected from a lot of 7 variants, and a limited edition special ticket.

A single poster was issued for this release.

Beatbox Repackage Album

The reissue of Glitch Mode titled Beatbox came out on May 30, 2022 under SM Entertainment. On the CD you will find the eponymous lead single, and 3 additional songs - To My First, Sorry, Heart and On the Way.

The repackage followed its predecessor and topped the weekly Gaon chart. It also reached number 2 on the Hot Albums chart of Billboard Japan and number 8 on the Billboard's US Albums chart.

NCT Dream Beatbox Repackage Album Cover

Beatbox was the 4th best-selling release of May 2022 with the sales equal 671,285 units. It sold 837,582 additional copies the following month surpassing 1,500,000 copies sold.

Similarly to the previous release, the repackage is available in 9 physical versions. You can get either 1 of 2 normal versions (New School and Young Star), or 1 of 7 digipack versions. The normal edition measures 190 x 260 x 7.5 mm while the size of the digipack edition is 140 x 125 x 7 mm.
