The official (G)I-DLE light stick was revealed on the social media accounts of the group on October 18, 2019. The same day the pre-order was opened for those who wanted to order the item before the release. It was officially released on November 8, 2019. (G)I-DLE joins other artists from Cube Entertainment including BtoB and Pentagon as a group that have its own light stick. The Product was manufactured by a South Korean company called 101X under the license by Cube. This must have item will be very helpful if you'll be attending a concert during the upcoming world tour of the group titled I-LAND that was scheduled to begin on April 4, 2020 in Bangkok. [Please notice that as of March the tour was temporary postponed]. The (G)I-DLE light stick was originally priced at KRW 35,000 and was available for pre-order via Cubee online shop and Okvit store.
The head of the light stick is shaped like a light bulb. On top of it you will spot a small logo of the girl group. Inside there's a visible castle designed based on the (G)I-DLE logo. Between the head and the white handle you can find a purple silicone ring featuring the word Neverland which is the official fandom of the group. That part is customizable. The light stick is equipped with RGBW LED and can glow in three different colors - chic violet, neon red and white. It is powered by three AAA alkaline batteries and can work in two modes - On and Flicker.
The size of the (G)I-DLE light stick is 102.7 x 102.7 x 261.6 mm. It comes in a red and violet box with the white logo of the group on front. In the package you will also find a white hand strap and a standard user manual with the instructions and some information about the product. On the back side of the box you will spot a round hologram sticker that proves this is an official item from Cube Entertainment.
The (G)I-DLE light stick is one of few that are customizable. A special selection of three accessories are available for purchase online for anyone who wants to make his fanlight more personal. The first one is a silicone ring. You can remove the one with the word Neverland which comes by default and change it to the one you decide to buy that features the name of your favourite member. There are six different options to choose from - each member is here available: Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. The size of the ring is 59.19 x 20.25 mm. It was initially available for a price of KRW 7,000.
Next item is a white hand strap. If you're bored with the standard one you can get one with a name of a chosen member. It comes with a small round pendant. The size of this accessory is 18 x 165 mm and it was originally priced at KRW 15,000.
The last product is a pouch for the (G)I-DLE light stick. It measures 160 x 310 mm and featured the Neverland logo. It will be perfect for keeping your light stick safe during traveling to and from the concert. This item was available for a price of KRW 18,000.
