Chungha Albums

There are 9 Chungha albums released so far including 2 studio albums, 4 extended plays and 3 single albums. All came out under MNH Entertainment and were distributed by CJ E&M Music (later as Stone Music Entertainment) and Genie Music Corp. Korea.

The artist debuted as a member of I.O.I in 2016 and after the group disbanded started her solo career in 2017 with the mini album Hands On Me. The list of all solo albums of Chungha in order is below.

Hands on Me Mini Album

Hands on Me is the debut extended play of Chungha. It was released by MNH Entertainment on June 7, 2017 (physically on June 8) and distributed by CJ E&M Music. On the CD you will find 5 tracks including the intro of the same name as the EP, the lead single Why Don't You Know, Make a Wish, Cosmic Dust and Week. Why Don't You Know features a South Korean rapper Nucksal. It was produced by the team Oreo, with the lyrics from them and Lee Jun-young.

Chungha Hands on Me Mini Album Cover

Hands on Me debuted at number 8 on the Gaon Weekly Chart and reached number 22 the following week. It later became the 15th most purchased Korean release in June of 2017 (with 10,610 units sold).

The physical edition of the first of Chungha albums comes with a slip cover in a metallic silver color, with a window. It is in a hardcover format and consists of a CD disk with the music, two accordion photobooks attached to the both front and back covers, and 1 photo card randomly chosen out of 3 variants. It also includes a paper toy of Chungha and her dog on 8 sheets, that you can assemble. The size of the whole package is 157 x 207.5 x 13 mm.

Offset Mini Album

The second mini album of Chungha came out on January 17, 2018 under MNH Entertainment and was once again distributed by CJ E&M. It features 5 tracks - the intro of the same name, Roller Coaster, Do It, Bad Boy and Remind of You. Roller Coaster is the title track and was composed by the duo Black Eyed Pilseung (who also wrote the lyrics) alongside Jeon Goon.

The extended play peaked on 3rd position at the Gaon chart and managed to reach number 13 on the Billboard's US World chart. It became the 26th best-selling South Korean release of January of 2018 with 11,102 units sold.

Chungha Offset Mini Album Cover

Offset is available in 2 physical versions - Off and Set. Both come with a sturdy box with a magnetic closure and feature Chungha on the cover (157 x 217 mm). Inside you will find a CD disk in a case of a size of 150 x 210 mm, a photobook with 52 pages full of pictures (150 x 210 mm), a bookmark (40 x 210 mm), 1 random postcards chosen out of 2 variants (100 x 145 mm), 1 sticker (200 x 140 mm), and 1 photo card added from a lot of 3 sheets. The photo cards measure 56 x 88 mm. All goods (except the bookmark) are unique to the version of the album you will be getting.

2 posters were issued for Offset. Their size is 520 x 750 mm.

Blooming Blue Mini Album

The third extended play of the vocalist titled Blooming Blue had its premiere on July 18, 2018. It was distributed by Stone Music Entertainment (previously known as CJ E&M). It consists of 5 songs including the intro BB, Love U, Cherry Kisses, Drive and From Now On. The title track Love U was composed by a production team Oreo consisting of Iggy, Cino and Uh-kim.

The Chungha album reached number 9 on the Gaon chart and was the 29th most purchased album in July. It sold 8,826 copies.

The physical edition of Blooming Blue is available in 1 version that comes with a transparent slip cover. It is composed of a CD disk, an 82 pages photobook (150 x 210 mm), 1 postcard randomly added out of 2 variants (115 x 160 mm), a bookmark (60 x 195 mm), and 1 photo card included randomly out of 3 variants (52 x 86 mm).

1 poster of a size of 520 x 750 mm was prepared for this release.

XII Single Album

XII (also known as Gotta Go) is the first single album of Chungha and was released digitally and physically on January 2, 2019. Genie Music Corp. Korea joined Stone Music Entertainment to distribute the single. It consists of only 1 song titled Gotta Go which was produced by Black Eyed Pilseung and Jeon Goon. It was the second title track of Chungha from the composers after Roller Coaster.

The single reached number 4 on the weekly Gaon chart. It's worth noting that Gotta Go was included on The 100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s by Billboard (on position number 100). It also brought 7 wins on different TV music shows - 3 on MBC's Show! Music Core and 1 on each of MBC Music's Show Champion, Mnet's M Coutdown, SBS' Inkigayo and KBS' Music Bank.

XII comes in 1 physical version, which was mislabeled as the 2nd single instead of the 1st. Only 10,000 units were manufactured. Inside the sturdy box of a dimensions of 154 x 216 mm you will find a CD disk, a postcard book consisting of 48 pages (148 x 210 mm), 2 animated optical illusion cards that showcase a moving clock (140 x 200 mm), a warranty card with a unique number on the back (140 x 70 mm), and 2 photo cards that measure 53 x 88 mm - 1 transparent and 1 regular. Some of the postcards connect on the back creating one big photo of the KPop vocalist.

A poster was issued for the Chungha album. Its size is 636 x 468 mm.

Flourishing Mini Album

The fourth mini album of Chungha titled Flourishing was released by MNH on June 24, 2019 and once again distributed by Stone Music Entertainment, and by Genie Music. It consists of 5 songs including Chica, Young in Love, Call It Love, Flourishing and the title single Snapping. The lead single was composed by Park Woo-sang and arranged by him and Ha Jae-wan. The lyrics were written by Park and Sola.

A special showcase was held by Chungha to promote her newest album.

The fifth of the Chungha albums did pretty well on the charts by reaching number 6 and 7 on the Gaon Weekly and US World charts respectively.

Flourishing comes in 1 physical version with a slip cover similar to the one from Hands on Me mini album. It measures 151 x 210.5 x 15.5 mm and is composed of a CD disk with the music, a 76 pages photobook of a size of 150 x 210 x 7.5 mm, 1 random postcard added out of 3 versions (145 x 100 mm), an 8 pages accordion book (130 x 180 mm), and 1 random photo card of a size of 56 x 88 mm (4 different options).

The extended play came with 1 pre-order benefit - a poster of a size of 750 x 520 mm.

Play Single Album

The second single album (labeled as maxi single) of Chungha was released digitally on July 6, 2020 by MNH and distributed by both Stone Music and Genie Music. The physical edition was available since July 9. On the CD you will find two pre-release songs promoting the artist's upcoming studio album - Play and Stay Tonight (not included in the digital version). Play features a South Korean rapper and producer Changmo, and was produced by Vincenzo, Fuxxy, Any Masingga, Anna Timgren and Changmo. Stay Tonight was previously released digitally on April 27, 2020 (although a very limited physical edition was manufactured for promotional purposes).

Play is available in 1 version of a size of 150 x 210 mm. The rectangular box contains a CD disk, a 104 pages photobook, 1 message card (100 x 145 mm), 1 double-sided bookmark (60 x 195 mm) and 4 different photo cards of a standard size of 55 x 85 mm.

Querencia Studio Album

The first studio album of Chungha titled Querencia had its premiere on February 15, 2021 through MNH Entertainment and 88rising. The record consists of a rather large number of songs: 21. On the CD you will find the opening track, the intro Side A (Noble), Bicycle, Masquerade, Flying on Faith, Luce Sicut Stellae, Side B (Savage), Stay Tonight, Dream of You (freaturing a Dutch musician R3hab), Bother Me, Chill, Side C (Unknown), Play (featuring a Korean artist Changmo), Demente (featuring Guaynaa), Lemon (featuring Colde), Byulharang (160504 + 170607), Side D (Pleasures), X, All Night Long, Everybody Has, Comes N Goes and Querencia (Epilogue).

The release peaked at the 6th position on the Gaon weekly chart. It also reached number 5 and 10 and US Heatseekers and US World charts of Billboard.

The physical edition comes in only 1 version. It is in a boxed format and consists of a CD disk in an envelope, a magazine with photos and lyrics, an invoice paper, a mini poster of a size of 170 x 255 mm, and 4 photo cards randomly added out of 10 variants.

Killing Me Single Album

Killing Me is a special single of Chungha released under MNH and distributed by Stone Music Entertainment. It consists of the track of the same title. The vocalist personally wrote the lyrics for the song. A music video for the single has also been released.

The physical edition of the single comes in a black square format. Inside the package you will find a CD disk, an 98 pages booklet, a set of lyric stickers measuring 190 x 190 mm, a lyric paper with a coloring paper of the same size, a 40 pages postcard book (184 x 200 mm), a folded mini poster selected out of 2 variants of a dimensions of 200 x 283 mm, 1 random photo card selected out of 5 different sheets.

2 regular posters were issued for this release. Both measure 594 x 841 mm.

Bare & Rare Studio Album

The second full-lenght album of Chungha titled Bare & Rare came out on July 11, 2022 through MNH Entertainment and 88rising. 8 songs are present on the CD - the opening XXXX, Sparkling, Louder, Crazy Like You (featuring a Korean singer Bibi), California Dream, Good Night My Princess, Love Me Out Loud, and Nuh-Uh. Sparkling was selected as the lead single. Chungha helped with the lyrics for all the songs.

The title track was composed by BXN and Prime Time. A music video was also released.

The physical edition comes in a photobook format. It contsins the CD disk with the music, the photobook itself featuring some beautiful pictures on 152 pages, 3 randomly chosen photo cards included out of 10 different variants, 1 Polaroid photo, a single clearcard, and a poster of a size of 190 x 250 mm added at random out of 2 variants.

1 extra poster was prepared as a special benefit and was included along with the first press copies of the album.
