There are 5 WayV albums released so far, including 1 studio album and 4 extended plays. They premiered under SM Entertainment and were distributed by Label V, Dreamus Company and Owhat. Kick Back is the only album of WayV with a Platinum certification, received for more than 250,000 copies sold. Although the group debuted with the single The Vision, their first physical release is an EP Take Off released in May of 2019.

The debut extended play of the group titled Take Off had its premiere on May 16, 2019 under SM Entertainment and its subsidiary Label V (although it was available digitally since May 9). It was distributed by Label V. On the CD you will find 6 songs including the lead single of the same title, Regular, Say It, Come Back, Let Me Love U and Dream Launch. The main track was composed by Mike Daley, Mitchell Owens, Wilbart "Vedo" McCoy III and Jeff Lewis. The arrangements were made by Daley, Owens, Yoo Young-jin and Hitchhiker.
The first of WayV albums topped the QQ Music Popularity Real-time Chart. It also reached number 7 on the Billboard's US World chart.
The physical edition of Take Off comes in a single version. It is composed of a CD disk containing the music, a nice photobook with 72 pages full of beautiful pictures taken during the promotional photoshoot for the EP, a circle card chosen randomly out of 7 variants, and 1 random regular photo card added randomly out of 7 options. The regular card is of a typical size of 55 x 85 mm you can find in many currently released KPop albums, while the diameter of a circle card is 60 mm. The whole package is of a dimensions of 165 x 160 x 15 mm.
A single poster were issued for the album. It features all 7 members of WayV and measures 610 x 920 mm.
Take Over The Moon is the second mini album of the group. It was released under SM Entertainment and Label V on October 29, 2019. Dreamus Company was the Korean distributor, while Owhat distributed the album in China. It is composed of 6 songs including Moonwalk, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Love Talk, King of Hearts (performed by Winwin, Lucas, Hendery and Yangyang), Face to Face (performed by Kun, Ten and Xiaojun), and We Go Nanana. Moonwalk serves as the lead single. It was produced by Jonatan Gusmark, Ludvig Evers (both from a producing team Moonshine), Adrian McKinnon, Jeremy "Tay" Jasper and Yoo Young-jin. Matthew Yen prepared the lyrics. Hendery and Yangyang helped with the lyrics for King of Hearts and We Go Nanana.
The second of WayV albums managed to reach number 5 on the South Korean Gaon Weekly chart. It also peaked at number 12 on the US World chart. It sold 31,842 copies in November 2019 and was the 12th best-selling release of the month in Korea. It sold additional 17,385 units the next month and finished December at the 13th place.
Take Over The Moon is available in a single physical version, in a photobook form with a red cover and golden logo of WayV. The package measures 150 x 210 x 16.5 mm. The EP consists of a CD disk, the photobook itself containing 124 pages, a circle card similar to the one from Take Off, chosen out of 7 variants (60 x 60 mm), and a random photo card selected out of 7 options (55 x 85 mm).
Once again a poster was prepared for the fans as a pre-order benefit. The size of the poster is 920 x 610 mm. It showcases all 7 members of WayV wearing black attires.
On March 13th, 2020 a special edition of Take Over The Moon titled Sequel came out. It consists of all the previously released songs with the addition to the English version of Love Talk released on November 5, 2019, and a voice track WayV.oice #1 narrated by the members of WayV. Sequel is only available physically, and was distributed by Dreamus.
The special edition of Take Over The Moon reached the 3rd position on the Gaon chart during the 12th week of the year. It lost to only to a mini album NCT #127: Neo Zone and BTS's fourth studio album Map of the Soul: 7. With 24,498 copies sold it became the 12th best-selling release in South Korea of March 2020.
Physically, Sequel comes in a similar size to its predecessor. Its dimensions are 150 x 210 x 11 mm. Instead of a red cover we have a black one with a silver details. Inside the package you will find a CD disk, a 72 pages photobook, a postcard with a picture of a random member of WayV on one side and a handwritten message on the other, inside a black envelope (150 x 100 mm), a new circle card selected out of 7 variants (60 x 60 mm), and a regular photo card of a standard size of 55 x 85 mm included randomly out of 7 options.
A new poster was issued for the Sequel. It showcases all members sitting at the table, and measures 920 x 610 mm.
Awaken The World is the first full-length album and the fourth of physical WayV albums overall. It was released digitally on June 9, 2020 and physically on June 18, 2020 by SM Entertainment and Label V. It features 10 songs - the title track Turn Back Time, Bad Alive, Unbreakable, After Midnight, Interlude: Awaken the World, Only Human (performed by Winwin, Lucas, Hendery and Yangyang), Domino, Up from Here, Electric Hearts and Stand by Me. The lead single was composed by the members of Moonshine (Jonatan Gusmark and Ludvig Evers), alongside Jeremy "Tay" Jasper and Adrian McKinnon. Both Hendery and Yangyang co-composed (with Pan) Only Human and Electric Hearts, while Hendery co-wrote Stand By Me (with DeerJenny).
The Korean version of Turn Back Time was released on June 18, 2020, and an English version of Bad Alive had its premiere on June 29, both as digital singles.
To promote the album, a special showcase titled Awaken WayV's World was broadcasted live through Naver's V Live on June 17.
Awaken The World reached number 3 on the Gaon chart during the week between June 14 and June 20, 2020, behind only Stray Kids' GO? and IZ*ONE's Oneiric Diary. It also peaked at number 9 and 19 on the Billboard's US World and Japanese Oricon charts respectively. It sold 86,292 copies in June and became the 10th biggest seller of the month. By the end of 2020 it sold a total number of 107,773 units and finished as the 78th best-seller of the year.
It is the first of WayV albums to have more than a single physical version. The album is available in 2 different versions - Awaken (red cover) and World (black cover). Both come in a cardboard package and consist of a CD disk with the music (116 x 116 mm), a 104 pages photobook (150 x 210 x 90 mm), a folded poster with a word "Wanted" and a picture of a random member of WayV (298 x 418 mm), another circle card (60 x 60 mm), and a photo card randomly selected out of 7 variants (55 x 85 mm). All goods included inside the package are unique to the version of Awaken The World you'll be getting.
Kick Back is the third extended play of WayV. It was released by SM and Label V on March 10, 2021 digitally and physically. A Kihno edition came out on March 26. It consists of 6 tracks including the eponymous lead single, Action Figure, Horizon (performed by Kun, Ten and Xiaojun), All For Love, Good Time, and the Korean version of Kick Back. The title track was composed by Harold "Alawn" Philippon, Jasmine Kara, Keynon "KC" Moore, Ryan S. Jhun, while the arrangements were prepared by Philippon and Yoo Young-jin.
To support the release of the album, a special showcase was broadcasted online through different services including V Live, Youtube and Weibo.
Kick Back is the first of WayV albums to top the Gaon Weekly chart. It also peaked at number 13 on the Oricon chart. It was the 6th most purchased release in South Korea with 226,535 copies sold, and the third biggest seller of any KPop boy group after Super Junior's The Renaissance and Ateez's Zero: Fever Part.2. The EP is the first of WayV albums to receive a Platinum certification by Korea Music Content Association. It was certified Platinum on May 6, 2021 for more than 250,000 copies sold.
There are 4 versions of the album available - 2 regular and a 2 Kihno versions. The regular physical edition of Kick Back is available in 2 variants - Stranger (grey cover) and Hitchhiker (orange cover). Both come in a hardcover photobook format with a transparent dust cover. They measure 150 x 210 x 15.5 mm. Inside the package you will find a CD disk, a 120 pages photobook, a folded poster composed of 8 pages in an envelope (120 x 170 mm), 1 random postcard selected out of 9 variants of a size of 100 x 150 mm (2 group and 1 per each member of WayV), and a single photo card selected out of 7 variants (55 x 85 mm). It is the first release of the group not to contain a circle photo card. All merchandise are unique to the version of the album.
The Kihno edition also comes in 2 versions - Stranger (blue cover), and Hitchhiker (orange cover). Both are of a dimensions of 101 x 101 x 33 mm. The package contains an Air Kit (60 x 60 mm), a folded accordion photos featuring all 7 members (630 x 90 mm), and a random photo card selected out of 7 standard-sized variants (55 x 85 mm). All goods are different in both versions.
