The members have been using a different color BTS microphones for quite some time now. Initially they used the same looking objects but eventually they changed it to more personalized ones. Each of the colors they use reflects their characteristics. As of 2020 RM was using a blue microphone, V was using a green one, Jungkook was equipped with purple one, Jimin was singing with gold, Jin with pink, Suga has been seen with black, while J-Hope was using sky blue.
The BTS microphones of 3 members including J-Hope, Jin and RM were customized with Swarowski stones by a South Korean company Bonny Fay.
After the album titled BE of the group was released on November 20, 2020, the colors of BTS microphones changed again. In 2021 the members was singing with microphones featuring different colors and customizations, although some of the members stayed with what they had been using so far. The members who changed their wireless devices were J-Hope, Jin, RM and Jungkook, while Suga and V decided to continue to sing with their precious items.
The 2021 edition of the BTS microphones was a result of some changes, and are still used as of 2022. RM now has two microphones instead of one - silver and black, customized with rainbow crystals taken from his previous blue mic. Jin is equipped with white one incorporating three small pink butterflies removed from his pink one. Jimin changed from his gold one to orange, while V's is green without any crystals. Jungkook has purple one with stones taken from his previous one.
After the group's single Butter was released on May 21, 2021, the members performed during an online concert Lotte Duty Free with a new set of BTS microphones. This time RM showed up with silver mic, Jin performed with mint green, Suga with platinum, J-Hope had light blue one, Jimin was holding in his hands a lilac one, V was taking care of his green microphone, while Jungkook was equipped with a purple one.
The BTS microphones seem to always represent the personalities of the members, and at the same time mark a change in their career and begin the new era of their creative life.

BT21 are the characters created by Line Friends corporation for their messaging app Line. The characters were designed with the participation of all members of BTS, who prepared the drawings based on the avatars they created. There are eight different characters representing a single member of BTS - Koya (RM), RJ (Jin), Shooky (Suga), Mang (J-Hope), Tata (V), Chimmy (Jimin), Cooky (Jungkook), and Van representing the ARMY.
