There are several interesting models of BT21 shoes to collect if you are a big fan of the adorable characters created by Line Friends. BT21 is a collaboration between BTS and Line Friends which resulted in a creation of some new characters for the messaging app called Line. The application was launched in 2011 and is owned by Naver Corporation. The fruitful collaboration began on September 26, 2017.
Eight different new cartoon characters were designed for the group and now are featured on various collectibles released so far including BT21 shoes. Each of them represents a single member of BTS and was co-designed by the members themselves - RJ (by Jin), Koya (by RM), Shooky (by Suga), Tata (by V), Mang (by J-Hope), Chimmy (by Jimin), Cooky (by Jungkook), and Van designed by the creators from Line Friends, which represent the connection between the group and its fandom.
There are plenty of high-quality merchandise released, so you have many items to choose from. That includes hoodies, T-shirts, smartphone accessories, and of course BT21 shoes. With a little bit of luck you will be able to find the products for affordable prices in shops such as Ross. You can always try to get a custom made pair based on an already existed model of such brands as Nike, Vans and other.
The first example of shoes you would probably want to wear are those from a collaboration between BT21 and Converse. The footwear brand announced in 2018 that three models would be released on July 27 and will be available for purchase in South Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The brand introduced three different pairs of BT21 shoes - black Chuck Taylor All Star tops and Chuck Taylor All Star Ox (either in black or white) sneakers. All three options will showcase a print incorporating the BT21 characters and other illustrations.
A special limited edition bundles were also prepared for the fans. All of them Included the shoes, a set of patch pins in a shape of the characters, laces and a tote bag. All comes in a beautiful box with a colorful graphic design on the top. The prices ranged between 95,000 KRW and 99,000 KRW. You can get any size between US Men's 3/Women's 5 and US Men's 10/Women's 12.
The second example of BT21 shoes was released by Fila. The members of BTS ended their corporation with Puma in 2019. On October 1 that year they became the ambassadors of Fila, and started promoting the shoes of the brand in 2020. The first collection of apparel under the collaboration was launched in March of 2020.
Additionally to the regular BTS footwear, Two different models of BT21 shoes named Disruptor were released. The first one came in eight different variants - each related to a single BT21 character. We have a pink shoes with pink sole representing Cooky, yellow with black sole showcasing Chimmy, whole red inspired by Tata, white with orange details (RJ), whole brown (Shooky), white, blue, navy, pink and purple (Mang), blue with white sole and laces and some purple details (Van).
The second model of BT21 shoes released under the brand features a small illustration of a single character on the heel of the sole. There are naturally 7 different options to choose from - pink (Cooky), blue (Koya), yellow with white shoe sole (Chimmy), orange with white sole (RJ), white with red and white sole (Tata), pink, yellow, blue, purple and white (Mang), light brown (Shooky), and silver with white sole (Van).
These BT21 shoes are not easy to find but I'm pretty sure you can get it online on different e-commerce websites from a third-party sellers. As an alternative you can try Ross or other offline fashion stores.
In October of 2019 BTS began their cooperation with another brand - Skechers. They released a line called Uno composed of nine different color designs. Each pair of BT21 shoes represents a single signature character identified by a side logo composed of a drawing and the name of the character. You can choose either blue pair with a purple laces (Koya), red (RJ), blue and yellow (Shooky), pink and purple with blue laces (Mang), green and yellow (Chimmy), red and blue (Tata), pink and blue (Cooky), black and silver (Van), and one additional pair which looks a little bit different than all the others, presenting several colors in a original design called D'Lites 3.0. All BT21 shoes in this selection have a brown sole except the Van's variant and the additional design.
All pairs feature a soft fabric shoe lining, mesh fabric tongue and collar panels, perforated elements on the front and on the sides, and overlays made of suede and leather.
The Uno model was available from the American website of the brand for $75 per pair.
One of the most popular footwear brands Reebok started their partnership with the members of BTS on November 29, 2018. The brand manufactured a line of BT21 shoes inspired by cartoon characters. Three new models where launched - Instapump Fury, Royal Complete 2LCS, and Royal Bridge 2.0.
The first one features a vibrant colors and a raised logo on top of the tongue. On the back you'll spot an illustration of a chosen BT21 character. Each pair of sneakers showcases a distinctive color matching the color of the character. It is worth noting that the model has no shoe laces.
The second model has a little bit simpler design. The BT21 shoes are all white with some colorful accents. All of them feature an illustration of the character on the tongue.
The third model is very similar to the second one yet features a little bit more sporty design. You can spot some additional drawings on the back of the shoes. All three models are available in seven different variants - one for each of the BT21 characters.
A little bit later additional model was launched by Reebok. It was called Turbo Impulse Clean. The line of the running shoes presents a simplistic design expressing a subtle appeal. The BT21 shoes were made in a retro style, with only a single letter on the side identifying the selected character. Inside the shoe you will find an insole with a drawing of the BT21 character.
The sneakers come in a wide selection of sizes so you can be sure you will find something for you regardless if you are a boy or a girl. You can get anything between 225 mm and 270 mm. The product is made of a composition of leather, polyester, EVA and Polyurethane.
