The official Victon light stick was revealed on November 9, 2017, on their first anniversary of the debut. The members debuted a year before on November 9, 2016 under Play M Entertainment, with their first mini album titled Voice to New World and their lead single I'm Fine.
The light stick was announced for the second month of the next year and was eventually released on March 16, 2018. The fans from the group's official fandom Alice were very pleased with the collectible. It is the official piece of merchandise from Play M Entertainment, manufactured in South Korea by Beatro Co., Ltd.
The item has a white handle which looks like a part of a key, and a head in a shape of three-leaf clover. On the handle you will find a button that looks like the Victon's logo. The logo is also incorporated by the head, which is in white and a mix of yellow, blue and green colors.
The official Victon light stick can produce the light in practically all colors since it's equipped with an RGBW LED, but by default it gives blue, yellow and green light. It requires 3 AAA, preferably alkaline, batteries and can work for a maximum time of 6 hours. It can operate in three different modes including stay, strove, dimming and fading. The batteries are hidden in a special compartment inside the handle. All you have to do is unscrew the bottom part of the handle, and then put the batteries in.
The item can be controlled wirelessly through Bluetooth. There is a special mode which will allow it to be manipulated by a central control system at the venue where a particular concert, fanmeeting or other event will be held. That will allow to create some additional sophisticated light effects during the performances. When the mode is turned on, the regular mode will be disabled. In theory the Victon light stick could be used with a dedicated app, and paired up with your seat at the venue, yet there is no app available at this moment.
The collectible is made of ABS and PC, and weights approximately 198 g. The dimensions of the item are 114 x 44 x 275 mm. It comes with a white hand strap featuring the logo of Victon and a user manual containing some useful information.
If you pre-ordered the Victon light stick, a special benefit was included in the package. It was a set of 7 photo cards, each with a picture of a single member of the KPop group holding the light stick in his hands.
Everything comes in a beautiful white box featuring multiple stars and the logo of the group alongside its name printed in holographic foil.
Additionally if you would like to keep your light stick safe and protect it from any damage, you should definitely think about getting the official pouch. It is a very sturdy item made of Polyester, EVA and brass. It has a compartment perfectly shaped to contain the fanlight, and a special one for photo cards, concert tickets or other items. It can be opened and closed with two zippers with 2 small padlocks. It comes with a long strap featuring the name of the group on it.
The dimensions of the pouch are 310 x 150 x 100 mm. It was released as part of the official merchandise prepared for Victon's first concert titled New World, that took place at the Olympic Hall in Seoul over two days on January 4 and 5, 2020. The item was manufactured by Copan Global, which is known for their collectibles for other KPop artists.
The official Victon light stick was included in different collections of goods released in conjunction with different events such as the fanmeeting Voice To Alice, pop-up store promoting their fifth mini album Nostalgia, and the mentioned concert New World.
