On October 2, 2019 a teaser photo of the official UP10TION light stick was revealed on the social media accounts of the group. The light stick was available for pre-order between October 25 and November 3. After some delays it was finally released on November 25, 2019. It was prepared for the UP10TION official fanbase named HONEY10 ahead of the second fanmeeting HONEYthing that was held at the KwangWoon University Donghae Arts Center on November 30, 2019. This is a genuine collectible from TOP Media.
The UP10TION light stick features a round transparent bulb with a white honey pot placed inside. The honey pot has the KPop group's logo on it. A bottom part of the bulb gives the impressions that the bulb itself is filled with fluid. On the handle - which is in a honey yellow color - you can find a button with a bear paw print. At the lower part of the handle there's another UP10TION logo (a slightly less visible though). The UP10TION light stick has a similar design to the fanlight of Lee Jin Hyuk that was announced on October 25, 2019 before his solo debut and a showcase.
The product can produce the light in four different colors - yellow, white, red and mint green and can operate for a maximum time of 4 hours. It is powered - as in most cases - with 3 AAA batteries. It can work in two modes including On and Flash. By double clicking the On button you can map the UP10TION light stick to work in a Central Control Mode (you will notice a flashing blue light) so it can be used at the venue where the concerts will be held. That way a special light effects can be created for a greater experience.
In the package you will also find a hand strap and a user manual with the instructions. The UP10TION light stick is made of ABS, PC and silicon and its weight is 190 g. The dimensions are 100 x 100 x 225 mm. It was manufactured in South Korea by a company BEATRO Co., Ltd. under the license from TOP Media. The product comes in a white and yellow square box featuring the official logo of the group alongside the drawings of a bear face, a honey pot and a paw prints.
As I mentioned before the first event that made the light stick available for the fans was the 2nd fanmeeting titled HONEYthing. You could purchase it for a price of KRW 35,000. Additionally the attendees had a chance to get more items. The boy group prepared a selection of 3 other collectibles including a clear roll tape, a photo postcard set of 10 sheets (2 group and 8 single member photos) and a calendar set composed of 8 ID pictures, 12 photocards, a postcard and a calendar for 2020 year.
