The official STAYC light stick was revealed on the group's official Twitter account on June 3, 2022. It was announced that the sales will begin on June 7 on the KPop shop Withmuu, with the scheduled release date on July 4, 2022. It currently doesn't have its own name.
The STAYC light stick consists of a transparent dome and a white handle. The dome was placed on a pink ring. Inside you can spot elements from which the new official logo of the group is composed on a revolving disk placed in the middle. On the top there is a white part that looks like a letter "C". On the handle you can notice a rectangular on/off button and the new logo of STAYC below. It is also printed in pink. The light stick presents a really clean and elegant design. It will definitely be a great addition to your KPop collection, especially if you are a fan of both STAYC and light sticks.
The collectible can operate in four different modes including on, blink, flicker and dimming. You just have to click the button to change the mode after the item is activated. It can create the light in a default lemon color. The dimming mode uses several colors to create a wonderful visual effects - lemon, lime, fresh orange and bold red orange. The STAYC light stick is equipped with an RGBW LED so it can light up in the colors of the whole spectrum.
The item can work in a central control mode at the venue during concert, fanmeeting, showcase or other event you will be participating in. The special mode can be activated during the event which will allow the central control to manipulate the light stick to create a beautiful effects during performances. You personally don't have to do anything and just enjoy the spectacle.
The light stick is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 so in theory it can be connected to a dedicated app. It could provide you with the functionality to change the color of the light, its intensity, and even pair the product with your designated seat at the venue. Some additional options also could be provided. The range of the Bluetooth connection is approximately 10 m.
3 AAA alkaline batteries are required to power the STAYC light stick. They need to be placed inside a special socket inside the lower part of the handle. All you have to do is to unscrew the cover and insert the batteries. That's a pretty straightforward operation.
Beside the fanlight inside the package you will find a white hand strap with the logo of the KPop group printed in pink, and a user manual with the warranty. Everything comes with a white rectangular box with a pink details on it. Additionally a set of 6 photo cards was offered for those who purchased the item during the pre-order period. It was definitely worth it to get it before the official premiere.
