On January 22, 2020 the official CIX light stick was revealed and the pre-order began the very next day. It lasted for two weeks and concluded on February 7, 2020. It was officially released on February 25. The light stick was prepared ahead of the group's first fanmeeting Hello FIX in U.S.A that was scheduled to begin on March 6, 2020 at 8 p.m. at the Melrose Ballroom in New York. It is a genuine product from C9 Entertainment.
The item is composed of a hexagonal transparent head and a dark blue handle. Inside the head you can spot the logo of CIX. On the top part of the CIX light stick's handle there's an inscription that says "Luceat Lux Tua" which is in Latin and means "Let Your Light Shine". The sentence comes from the song What You Wanted of the debut mini album of the group titled Hello' Chapter 1. Hello, Stranger. The power on button features the name of the group. The CIX light stick is a very elegant product that will please all of the fans of the group.
The CIX light stick is powered by three alkaline AAA batteries that you have to place inside the handle in a special compartment. Please notice that item glows in red color when the power level are low. The dimensions of the item are 83.7 x 72.7 x 245.3 mm and its weight is 158 g. It is made of ABS, PC, silicon and aluminum. It was manufactured in South Korea under the license of C9 Entertainment - a company that houses CIX. Beside the light stick in the package you will find a navy hand strap showcasing a name of the group and their logo. All comes in a white square cardboard box.
As I mentioned earlier the CIX light stick was prepared for the first fanmeeting in USA titled Hello FIX organized by C9, Warner Music Korea and SubKulture Entertainment. Unfortunately due to concerns regarding the coronavirus the tour was postponed indefinitely. The members were supposed to visit New York, Denver, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles. Earlier this year the group concluded their South Korean fanmeeting that was held on February 22 at 6 p.m. and 23 p.m. at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul.
