AB6IX Official Light Stick

The official AB6IX light stick was announced on August 19, 2019 on the Twitter account of BrandNewShop. Soon afterwards on August 23 the design was revealed and the light stick was available for pre-order for a price of KRW 37,000 between August 23 and September 9, 2019. It was officially released on September 20, 2019 ahead of their first world tour titled 6IXENSE that was launched in Seoul on November 9.

The AB6IX light stick is in a hexagonal shape and is composed of a transparent head and a black handle. Looking from the top you will notice the group's name. Inside the head you can spot the AB6IX logo in a burgundy color. A smaller one was placed on a ring between the head and the handle. On the AB6IX light stick you will find a special connector for an external accessory. The item can produce the light in a burgundy tone and can work in five different modes including Stay, Slow, Quick, Flash, Dimming. It is powered traditionally by three AAA alkaline batteries which you place inside a special compartment in the lower part of the handle. In order to initiate the Bluetooth mode you should press the button twice. The light stick can also work in a Central Control Mode similarly to other fanlights. That means an advanced effects are possible when using it at the venue during the concerts of AB6IX. To turn of the product press and hold the button for 5 seconds.

Beside the AB6IX light stick in the package you will also find a strap and a user manual. The item itself measures 53 x 53 x 267 mm and weights 200 g. It is made of ABS and PC. It was manufactured in South Korea by BrandNew Music and Beatro Co., Ltd. The latter company is known for collectibles of other KPop groups like iKON, NU'EST and The Boyz.

Additionally a special black pouch - or rather a case - for the AB6IX light stick was prepared for the fans who want to keep their precious item safe. It is opened and closed by a zipper in a shape of the group's logo and comes with a strap that will be helpful when carrying everything around. It is made of EVA and metal and was manufactured in China by the company I mentioned before - BrandNew Music. The dimensions of the pouch are 110 x 85 x 315 mm. It was originally sold for KRW 20,000.

Both of the products were available at the Seoul concerts of the first world tour 6IXENSE that took place at the KSPO Dome on November 9 and 10, 2019. At the venue the fans had a chance to purchase also a mini keyring, a keyring with a logo of each member, 6 different versions of the official slogan, image picket (5 options), a set of 6 posters, a set of 7 postcards, a keyring with a silhouette and a cartoon character representing one of the members of AB6IX, and finally a black ball cap.

The group originally were scheduled to perform in 19 different cities all around the world during their 6IXENSE tour but unfortunately some of the concerts in Asia were postponed while the whole European leg was cancelled.

The AB6IX light stick is the second one that the group have released so far. The first one was a much simpler one made of acrylic and featured the logo in white color. It was released as part of the debut goods and was marked as version 0.5. It measures 77 x 246 mm and comes with a white hand strap. The second item available at this point was a slogan of a size of 600 x 200 mm.
