Momoland Albums

There are 9 Momoland albums available at this point - 6 extended plays (including 1 special), and 3 single albums. 1 of them - Wonderful Love - was released exclusively on the Kihno format. All of the group's releases came out under Dublekick Company (later as MLD Entertainment), were manufactured by Why N Communication and Kihno, Inc. (only Wonderful Love), and distributed by Loen Entertainment (later as Kakao M) and Sony Music Entertainment Korea. The group debuted with their mini album titled Welcome to Momoland.

Welcome to Momoland Mini Album

The first extended play of Momoland came out under Dublekick Company (currently known as MLD Entertainment) on November 10, 2016. It was manufactured by Why N Communication and distributed by Loen Entertainment. On the CD you will find 6 tracks including the title song of the same name as the album, JJan! Koong! Kwang!, Love Sick, Oh-Gi-Yeo-Cha and 2 instrumental versions - of JJan! Koong! Kwang! and Oh-Gi-Yeo-Cha.

The lead single was produced by Jake K, Andreas Öberg and Skylar Mones, while Yong Hee and the duo Double Sidekick wrote the lyrics.

Momoland Welcome to Momoland Mini Album Cover

The extended play showcases the original lineup of Momoland including Yeonwoo, Hyebin, Nayun, Jane, Ahin, JooE and Nancy.

The first of Momoland albums managed to reach number 28 on the Gaon Weekly Chart. The sales reached 1,915 copies which made the EP number 53 on the list of the most purchased releases of November 2016 in South Korea.

The physical edition of Welcome to Momoland is available in 1 version and comes in a form of a hardcover photobook. It consists of a CD disk with the music, the photobook itself, and 1 random photo card chosen out of 8 variants (1 group and 7 individual member cards).

Wonderful Love Single Album

The first single album titled Wonderful Love was released by Dublekick Company on April 26, 2017. It was manufactured by Kihno, Inc. and distributed by Loen Entertainment. The new 2 members - Daisy and Taeha - are featured for the first time. The single consists of 5 tracks - the title song Wonderful Love along with the instrumental version, and 3 special tracks from the first of the Momoland albums - Welcome To Momoland, JJan! Koong! Kwang! and Uh-Gi-Yeo-Cha.

Physically, Wonderful Love was released exclusively on a Kihno format. It comes in a rectangular box and is composed of the Kihno Kit, a photobook with some nice pictures, 3 unit postcards (3 members per postcard), and 2 photo cards randomly selected out of 9 variants.

Freeze! Mini Album

The second extended play and the third of Momoland albums overall, had its premiere on August 22, 2017 under Dublekick. It is composed of 6 tracks - the lead single of the same title as the EP, I Like It, What Planet Are You From?, Orgel, the EDM version of previously released Wonderful Love, and the instrumental version of Freeze.

The title track was produced by Glory Face, Jinri, Wiikeed and Duble Sidekick.

The Momoland album peaked at the 17th position on the weekly Gaon chart, and sold 2,234 units during the whole August, ending the month as the 63rd best-selling release.

Freeze! comes in 1 physical version and is composed of a CD disk attached to the back side of the front cover, a photobook with beautiful pictures of all 9 members, and 2 random photo cards added from a lot of 18 sheets (2 per member - 1 Selfie and 1 Freeze! version).

Great! Mini Album

Great! is the third extended play of the group and the fourth of Momoland albums. It came out under Dublekick on January 3, 2018. On the CD you will find 6 tracks including Bboom Bboom and its instrumental, Curious, Same Same, Fly, the instrumental of the EDM version of Wonderful love.

Bboom Bboom, the biggest hit of Momoland so far, was composed by Shinsadong Tiger, Beomi and Nangi. It was later re-released on a Japanese EP alongside Welcome to Momoland and the instrumental versions of both songs.

Although it debuted at the 29th place, Great! charted in the top 3 (at 3rd position) on the Gaon weekly chart during the week between February 11 and 17, more than a month after the album was released. It sold 5,366 copies during January, and another 11,920 units in February, finishing the month at the 14th position of the best-sellers list.

The physical edition of the Momoland album is available in 1 version with white cover showcasing the logo of Momoland. Inside the package you will find a CD disk with the music, a photobook, and 2 randomly selected photo cards added from a lot of 18 options (2 per each member of the group).

A poster was included as a pre-order benefit.

Fun to the World Mini Album

The fourth extended play and the fifth of Momoland albums was released on June 26, 2018, under MLD Entertainment (until this point known as Dublekick Company). It was the final release to feature Daisy and Taeha.

Fun to the World includes 5 tracks - Baam (with its instrumental), Very Very, Bingo Game and Only One You. Baam was chosen as the title song. It was produced by Shinsadong Tiger, Bums and Nangi.

The EP reached number 6 on the Gaon weekly chart during its first week of the premiere, and was the 2nd most purchased KPop girl group release that month (behind only Square Up of Blackpink). With 9,347 copies sold it became the 20th best-selling album of June 2018.

Fun to the World comes in 1 square physical version with an airplane on the cover. It measures 170 x 170 mm. Inside the package you will find a CD disk, a 52 pages photobook, 5 sheets of stickers, and 1 random photo card, this time added out of 9 variants. The photo cards are of a standard size and measure 55 x 85 mm.

Two different posters (Fun and World version) were prepared for this Momoland album. They both measure 743 x 519 mm.

Show Me Mini Album

The fifth mini album of the group was released by MLD Entertainment on March 20, 2019. Kakao M (formerly known as Loen Entertainment) provided the distribution. Taeha and Daisy are not featured on the album, and did not participate in the promotions. This is also the last release to feature Yeonwoo.

On the CD you will find 6 songs including the lead single I'm So Hot (and the instrumental version), Falling U, Light Up, Holiday and What You Want. Shinsadong Tiger, Beomi and Nangi came back to produce the title track I'm So Hot.

Show Me peaked at the 7th place on the Gaon chart, and sold 9,153 units during March 2019, finishing the month as the 31 most popular release of the month.

The physical edition of the Momoland album comes in a similar square form to the previous releases. It is composed of a CD disk, a photobook, and 2 photo cards chosen randomly out of 16 different variants (2 individual member and 2 group sheets).

Thumbs Up Single Album

The second single album of Momoland came out on December 30, 2019 under MLD and was distributed by Kakao M. For the first time the group came back as a six-member act, with Jane, Hyebin, JooE, Nayun, Nancy and Ahin.

The Momoland album is composed of 4 tracks - the title song Thumbs Up, its English and instrumental versions, and a remix (S2 & SJ Remix). Thumbs Up was produced by Duble Sidekick, Bull$EyE, Ondine, De View and Kim Do Da Ri. The arrangements for the remix were made by Kang Min Kyu and Lee Shin Jae.

The single album peaked at number 4 on the Gaon weekly chart. It sold 5,688 copies and reached number 41 on the Gaon Monthly chart in January 2020.

The physical edition of Thumbs Up has a look of a typical magazine. It consists of a CD disk placed at the inner side of the back cover, a photobook, and 1 random sheet of photo cards chosen out of 7 variants (1 per each member of Momoland and 1 group sheet).

Starry Night Special Mini Album

The sixth extended play of Momoland titled Starry Night had its premiere under MLD Entertainment on June 11, 2020. The newest of Momoland albums consists of 5 tracks, including the lead single of the same title, its instrumental and English versions, Pinky Love and Chiri Chiri.

The music for the title track was prepared by Bull$EyE, real-fantasy, Ondine and Kim Do Da Ri. The members of Momoland were credited as the lyricists of the song. It's worth noting that Starry Night does not have a regular music video.

Starry Night charted at the 21st position on the weekly Gaon chart. It sold a total number of 4,817 copies in June and was placed as the 75th best-selling album of the month.

The Momoland album is available in 1 physical version. Its dimensions are 150 x 210 mm, and it consists of a CD disk, 112 pages photobook (145 x 205 mm), and a single photo card selected at random out of 6 different variants. The cards are of a standard size of 55 x 85 mm.

2 group posters were prepared for this release. Both measure 743 x 519 mm.

Ready or Not Single Album

The third single of the group came out under MLD on November 17, 2020. This was the first time when Sony Music Entertainment Korea was responsible for the distribution. The album features 3 tracks including the title song Ready or Not, its instrumental, and Merry Go Round. The lead track was produced by Louise Lindberg, Alexej Viktorovitch and Alexander Karlsson. The lyrics were written by White99 and PSY, a singer of a hit song Gangnam Style.

Ready Or Not managed to reach number 25 on the Gaon weekly chart. It was the 81st best-selling release of November 2020 with the sales equal 3,524.

The Momoland album is available in a rectangular physical edition. It consists of a CD disk, a photobook with 76 pages full of pictures (205 x 145 mm), and 1 random, unusually large, photo card showcasing a single member of Momoland. The size of the photo cards is 125 x 190 mm.

If you purchased your copy of Ready or Not earlier you could get a poster as a pre-order bonus. It measures 743 x 519 mm and features the whole group.
