ITZY Albums

JYP Entertainment has released 6 ITZY albums so far - It'z Icy, IT'z Me, Not Shy, Guess Who, Checkmate and Crazy In Love. All of them (except the last one which is a studio album) are extended plays and were distributed by Dreamus Company. The mini albums include a selection of merchandise such as a photobook and photo cards, and often are available with some special goods in a separate package if you pre-ordered your copy.

Although the members debuted with a digital single It'z Different (and the title song Dalla Dalla) on February 12, 2019, the first physical release came out almost 6 months later in July.

It'z Icy Mini Album

The first extended play of ITZY titled It'z Icy was released on July 29, 2019 by JYP Entertainment as a physical version, digital download and streaming. It was distributed by Dreamus Company. The first of ITZY albums consists of 5 tracks including Icy, Cherry, It'z Summer, and the remixes of two songs that were previously released on the first digital single of the group - Dalla Dalla (DallasK Remix) and Want It? (Imad Royal Remix). Icy serves as the title track. It was composed by J.Y. Park "The Asiansoul" himself with Cazzi Opeia, Ellen Berg Tollbom, Daniel Caesar, Ludwig Lindell, Ashley Alisha (Joombas), Cameron Neilson and Lauren Dyson. It was Park Jin Young and Lee Hae-seul. Cherry was named the 15th best song on the MTV's The Best K-pop B-sides of 2019 list.

The music video for Icy came out on the same day as the EP's premiere and managed to reach 18.1 million views in the first 24 hours.

It'z Icy album peaked at the 3rd position on the Gaon's Weekly Chart, reached number 11 on the Billboard's US World chart and number 12 on the Japanese Oricon's chart.

The lead track Icy brought a total number of 14 wins on the music programs MBC's Show Champion and Show! Music Core, Mnet's M Countdown, SBS's Inkigayo and KBS's Music Bank.

The physical edition of this ITZY album is available in two different versions - IT'z (vertical cover) and ICY (horizontal cover). Both come in a hardcover book form. Inside the package you will find a CD disk with the music placed on the back side of the front cover, a photobook with a random first page showcasing one of the members (different in IT'z and ICY versions), and 2 random photo cards chosen out of 25 different variants (5 variants per member) that measure 55 x 85 mm. The photo cards are the same in both versions of the EP.

The album came with some benefits if you pre-ordered your copy. You could get a 36 pages booklet (208 x 147 mm) with a photo card featuring one random member (55 x 85 mm), a set of 5 postcards added depending on the version you'll be purchasing (100 x 150 mm), 1 sticker (out of 2 types), and a poster randomly chosen out of 6 sheets (1 per each member and 1 group) of a size of 762 x 525 mm.

If you were lucky enough you could also find a very rare special event card. Only 100 were produced and were extremely difficult to find.

IT'z Me Mini Album

The second of the ITZY albums was an extended play titled IT'z Me which came out on March 9, 2020 under JYP Entertainment. It was once again distributed by Dreamus. There are seven tracks on the CD including Wannabe, Ting Ting Ting featuring a Dutch producer and DJ Oliver Heldens, That's a No No, Nobody Like You, You Make Me, I Don't Wanna Dance and 24Hrs. Wannabe was composed by a music team Galactica and was chosen as the title song. Unlike the previous lead single, Wannabe was not produced by Park Jin Young. It helped ITZY to receive subsequent awards on the music shows including 3 on M Countdown, 3 on Inkigayo and 2 on Show Champion. The music video for the song was made by Naive Creative Production and was released March 9. It reached 11 million views within 24 hours and exceeded 100 million the next month in April.

IT'z Me topped the Gaon's Weekly Chart and reached the 5th position on the Billboard's US World chart. It also peaked at number 13 on Japanese Oricon chart. It was the 4th most purchased album in South Korea in March and the bestselling album by any girl group that month.

It's worth noting that the EP entered the Polish ZPAV's chart on the 27th position marking the group's first appearance on any European chart.

The physical edition of IT'z Me comes in - unlike the first ITZY album - three versions including IT'Z (black cover), Me (orange cover) and Wannabe (blue cover). All three come with a frame sleeve with a transparent window of a dimensions of 150 x 210 mm. Each package contains CD disk, an 80 pages photobook (150 x 210 mm), a cover postcard randomly chosen out of 6 variants (1 group plus 1 postcard per member), and 2 random photo cards added from a lot of 25 sheets (55 x 85 mm). There are 3 photo cards per each member and 10 unit photo cards featuring 2 girls - Yeji-Ryujin, Lia-Yuna, Ryujin-Yuna, Yeji-Lia, Chaeryeong-Ryujin, Chaeryeong-Yeji, Chaeryeong-Lia, Yuna-Yeji, Chaeryeong-Yuna and Yuna-Lia.

This ITZY album also comes with some pre-order benefits. The first item you will get is a photo essay from "Paris et ITZY", an Mnet's TV show which consists of 5 episode and captures the members' visit to the capital of France. The second is a poster that measure 782 x 525 mm added accordingly to the version of the album you will get (3 different posters are available). The last piece of merchandise is a set of 5 postcards (100 x 150 mm) which is unique to each version.

A rare event card was also included in the 300 random units of IT'z Me.

Not Shy Mini Album

Not Shy is the third mini album of the group. It was released by JYP Entertainment on August 17, 2020. It is composed of 6 songs including the eponymous opening lead single, Don't Give a What, Louder, iD, Surf and Be In Love. The title track was produced by Kobee, Charlotte Wilson, earattack and Park Jinyoung.

The English edition of the extended play was released on January 22, 2021 and contains the English version of Not Shy, Wannabe, Icy and Dalla Dalla.

The mini album topped the Gaon weekly chart. It also reached number 8 on both US World and Oricon charts. It sold 206,280 copies in August of 2020 and was the 3rd biggest-seller of the month, and at the same time the most popular album of any KPop girl group. With the total sales of 216,151 units it eventually became the 44th most purchased record of the year.

On February 10, 2022 Not Shy was certified Platinum by Korea Music Content Association for more than 250,000 copies sold. It was the third album of ITZY to receive the certification after Guess Who and Crazy In Love.

Three different versions of the physical edition were released - A (yellow lettering on the front cover), B (green lettering) and C (red lettering). All of them feature the of all members on the cover.

Guess Who Mini Album

The fourth mini album of the group titled Guess Who came out under JYP Entertainment on April 30, 2021. On the CD you will find 6 songs. That includes In The Morning, Sorry Not Sorry, Kidding Me, Wild Wild West, Shoot!, and Tennis (0:0). In The Morning was chosen as the title track. It was produced by LYRE, Park Jinyoung, earattack, KASS and Lee Hae-sol.

Guess Who managed to reach number 2 on the Gaon weekly chart. It also peaked at the 1st and 2nd positions of Billboard's US Heatseekers and US World charts respectivelly. It also reached number 6 on the Japanese Oricon chart. It was the 5th best-selling record of April 2021 with the sales equal 232,570 units. It was the highest positioned girl group that month. It eventually became the 42nd most popular release of the year with 339,940 copies sold.

The EP was the first record of ITZY to receive a Platinum certification by KMCA.

There are three different versions of the physical edition of the album - Day (pink lettering on the cover), Night (yellow lettering), and Day&Night (red lettering). All of them depict the members on the cover.

Crazy in Love Studio Album

Crazy in Love is the first full-length album of ITZY. It premiered under JYP on September 24, 2021 and consists of 16 tracks. That includes Loco alongside its instrumental and English versions, Swipe, Sooo Lucky, #Twenty, B[oo]m-Boxx, Gas Me Up, Love Is, Chillin' Chillin, Mirror, and the instrumental versions of Dalla Dalla, Icy, Wannabe, Not Shy, and In The Morning. Loco was selected as the title track. It was produced by a production team called Galactika.

The studio album managed to top three different charts including Gaon Weekly, and both Billboard's US World and US Independent charts. It was the 4th biggest-seller of September in South Korea with 335,610 units sold. It sold 500,124 copies by the end of 2021 and became the 27th best-selling release of the year.

Crazy in Love received a Double Platinum certification from KMCA for selling more than 500,000 copies.

Physically, the album is available in a staggering 8 different versions including the regular group version along with 1 per each of the members versions, and 2 limited edition versions - normal and a jewel case variant.

Checkmate Mini Album

Checkmate is the fifth extended play of ITZY. It was released by JYP Entertainment on July 15, 2022. On the CD you will find 7 songs including the title track Sneakers, RAC3R, What I Want, Free Fall, 365, Domino, and the English version of the lead single.
